Deadly beauty
Five units project
oil on paper
-
This five units project represents five elements of beauty that can dig into our hearts and disrupt our reality by creating a fantasy that if sucked into can be dangerous or even deadly.
-
This oil on paper refers to all those self proclaim “saviors”, “mentors” “redeemers” who promise happiness, money, love, mental recovery, etc. when the only thing they are actually good at is spotting weaknesses to exploit. They offer you a beautiful bouquet of flowers, they even make you a soothing brew out of them, only for you to find out these were poisonous flowers, and now you either dead or worse, you live as a puppet of a fraud inside a prison with no independent thinking.
-
This oil on paper represents the tendency to dwell on the past and wonder what could have been if… the “what ifs” questions.
We can imagine a beautiful present in which we are married to the love of our life, raising our children in a dream house surrounded by nature and a loving community; but this “what if” imaginary life will eventually consume your soul and take any possibility to build a positive future.
B.T.W- you can take a lot of those “what ifs” out of the equation by getting answers; ask the one you want out on a date, take a risk and change your profession, etc. Even if you won’t succeed doing it all- you won’t have the “what ifs” questions that will not allow you to move on/try again.
Eliminate your fear, grow stronger from past traumas, and definitely -Don’t allow the tree of sorrow take everything away from you.
-
An extreme wish of perfection that looks good on paper ( literally), yet is deady just by it's inhuman nature of the ideal moral equality ending in totalitarianism which will oppressed the individual.
A beautiful trap
